Shift: 40 hour Day Shift- Full Time Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Assist the Facilities Manager in planning the daily workload, the general maintenance schedule, and the Planned Maintenance Schedule; Perform general demolition/construction/renovation work as required; Work harmoniously with outside contractors in the execution of their duties as required; Maintain assigned equipment and work area in a clean, safe and orderly manner; Report defective equipment to department supervision immediately; Complete all work assigned in a timely and professional manner; Submit all completed work orders in a timely manner; Review work orders with department supervision as required; Adhere to department and Medical Center policies and procedures; Assist other tradesmen in the execution of their duties as required by supervision; Perform a wide variety of trade-related duties providing proper maintenance of the Medical Center; Report code violations to department supervision immediately; Drive Medical Center's vehicle as required.
Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the Medical Center; Perform daily rounds checking various instruments and gauges and make appropriate adjustments to maintain desired temperatures and pressures; Perform daily chemical analysis of chilled water and make appropriate adjustments; Prepare chilled water systems for seasonal changes; Maintain humidification systems; Solder or braze piping associated
with H/V/AC/R systems; Perform analysis and troubleshooting of electrical power and control systems associated with H/V/AC/R; Perform planned maintenance as assigned by Facilities Manager; Perform all other duties as assigned or directed
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 5 years experience preferred
- Refrigeration Technicians, Freon Evac Certification required
- Knowledge of CMMS, Outlook and MS Office Suite
