Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist
This position is responsible for preparing and processing the payroll for SLRMC in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares and files all required payroll reports. This position is also responsible for entering all AP invoices into the system and working with purchasing to get any issues resolved on all invoice issues. Also performs all duties in a manner that promotes and supports the Standards of Conduct for Steward Healthcare. Demonstrates support of the Medical Center’s mission, values and vision in all actions and interactions with employees, patients, medical staff, guests and visitors through use of STAR key words: Service, Teamwork, Accountability/Attitude, Responsiveness.
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of the accounting process and policies
- Knowledge of Lawson, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Internet
- Knowledge of Computer 10 Key and writing ability required
- Communicates effectively, appropriately and clearly to Controller, co-workers, and Administration
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
