***Administrative Assistant 20 hrs/Days

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is to function as a member of the administration team and complete assigned daily front end tasks to ensure smooth day to day operations. The Administrative Assistant must maintain a professional, positive manner when talking with patients, employees or vendors in-person, over the phone, or via email.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with hospital departments and vendors, to process invoices

  • Answer department phones in a customer friendly and welcoming manner. Ensure proper triage of all calls.

  • Maintains log for Lost Belongings

  • Performs all clerical and secretarial services including typing, photocopying and mail sorting

  • Assist in special projects, as requested

  • Attend meetings, as requested

  • Perform other duties, as requested

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Must be an exceptional listener and communicator

  • Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on organization skills in Microsoft Outlook to support Executive team

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and assume responsibility without direct supervision

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • The ability to successfully multitask projects is required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills especially with MS Office Suite.
