Job Description

    Performs a variety of secretarial and clerically related patient/client support to the department including but not limited to data entry, record keeping and maintenance of records. Under the direct supervision of the program manager with functional guidance from the Certified Tumor Registrars (CTR), the administrative assistant performs a variety of tasks related to registry operations.

    1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
    2. Experience (Type & Length): Six months previous experience; with familiarity and medical terminology preferred.
    3. Certification/Licensure: Medical Assistant, allied health, or similar certification preferred
    4. Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office, familiarity with Metriq, Meditech preferred

    Other: Proficient in navigating the internet
