The Physical Therapist Assistant performs under the supervision of the physical therapist. He or she is responsible for implementing the Plan of Care as established by the physical therapist. Communicates effectively with the physical therapist(s) regarding patient care and need for re-assessments. Also communicates with other appropriate health care providers. Performs documentation of patient care provided and applicable charges. And performs other applicable duties as identified in the detail job description.

Required Education/Licensing:

  • Graduate of an accredited college/university Physical Therapy Assistant program. Minimum Associate
  • Science Degree in PTA. Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License.
  • BLS-CPR Certification.
