Job Summary:

Responsible to Steward Health Care for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Trumbull Laboratories for transporting Lab specimens and supplies between client locations and testing facilities. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED with no prior experience or specialized training.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of current insurance required.
• Good driving skills and record.

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Transports clinical laboratory specimens from client offices to appropriate site for processing and testing.
• Organizes reports and supply orders for delivery to client offices.
• Performs miscellaneous errands related to company operations, i.e., bank deposits, post office, etc.
• Maintains daily courier log sheets documenting each stop, number of specimens, mileage per day, number of stop per day.
• Checks and signs daily logbook to verify that all STAT/paged pick-ups were made.
• Safely operates and maintains vehicle. Performs other related duties as assigned.
