Facilities & Safety Director
Serves as Chairman of the Patient and Environmental Safety committee and Safety Officer. Develops and implements the Hospital's Environment of Care Program, including the dissemination of policies. Ensures the facility is in compliance with all regulatory agencies in regard to the Safety Management Program (TJC, OSHA, AHCA, etc.). Establishes and directs departmental goals and objectives in accordance with those of the Hospital Administration to provide and assure the basic needs for the welfare, comfort, and safety of patients, visitors, and staff as they relate to maintenance, repair, operation, and modification of all hospital buildings, grounds, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Maintains external relations related to Facilities and Life Safety including local, State and Federal Accountable for staff implementation of the four phases of emergency management; implementation of emergency management regulatory agencies, The Joint Commission (TJC), insurance carriers, and others as needed. Identifies and collaborates with the community response partners.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management or Engineering Degree
- A minimum of seven (7) years in Plant and Property Management
- Well-developed interpersonal communication and leadership skills required.
- NIMS training within (6) months.
