Job Summary:

The Operating Room Circulating Nurse (OR RN) is responsible for all aspects of the direct and indirect care of patients undergoing surgical procedures and performs circulating duties while demonstrating a high level of skill, efficiency, and the surgical consciousness required within this highly specialized surgical environment. The Registered Nurse in Surgery must function in accordance with the AORN Guidelines for Perioperative Practice.


  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
  • BSN Required
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of OR nursing experience required
  • On call requirement to include 24/7 coverage of weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Desirable full-time shifts available; 8s, 10s & 12s
