Position Summary:
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacist also assumes the responsibility for the delegation of pharmaceutical care to other members of the Pharmacy team. Provides professional knowledge and skills in the pharmacy to assure that the patients receive ultimate quality and safety in drug therapy.

Licensure/Certification/Education (Required):

  1. Current/Active Florida Pharmacist License (PS)
  2. Bachelor's Degree

  1. American Red Cross Basic Life Support CPR (BLS)
  2. American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

List the minimum specific knowledge and skills necessary to perform this job (e.g., homecare exp., med/surg exp., basic accounting principles/practices, spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)
  1. Ability to utilize clinical skills in order to make sound clinical decisions/recommendations

  1. Sterile Compounding
  2. Antimicrobial stewardship
  3. Anticoagulation Management
  4. Pharmacokinetic Dosing
