Pool Medical Tech
Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director and the direct supervision of the Medical Technologist Supervisor, the Medical Laboratory Technician provides clinical laboratory services to patients of all ages in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. Associate Degree for Medical Laboratory Technician from an accredited program preferred or completion of equivalent military training.
B. National certification (i.e. ASCP or equivalent) is preferred.
C. Previous experience in a hospital clinical laboratory preferred.
