Pool Pharmacist II
The Pharmacist assists with the oversight and overall pharmacy operations with regards to preparation and dispensing of medications for patients served by the Pharmacy Department.
Education: Graduate of college of Pharmacy accredited by ACPE or equivalent
Experience: Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Certification/Licensure: Current license to practice Pharmacy in State and maintains all required CE
Other: Pharmacist, 0 – 1 years experience; Pharmacist II, 1 – 3 years experience; Pharmacist III, 4 or more years experience and generally additional management responsibilities; Pharmacist PRN, variable hours. See Steward License/Certification grid for current certification requirements
Training and proficiency in age specific therapies for hospital patients: Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric
Customer oriented at all times - must be diplomatic
Work within a diverse workforce

Ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Position is classified as OSHA Category II, where regular job duties have continuous potential of exposure to blood borne pathogens throughout the day. Steady, active work that may include walking, standing, sitting, bending and stooping. Work may involve transporting supplies.
