Job Description

Maintains employee health mandated records, communicable disease information, and annual TB screening data.  Serves as Workers’ Comp Coordinator for Mountain Vista Medical Center and assists with preparing monthly Worker’s Comp Status Report.  Maintains Urine Drug Screen files, Employee Accident log and OSHA Safety Tracker log.  Maintains Puncture Wound book and Chest X-Ray report log for County Health Department.  Maintains Infectious Disease Exposure book with reminder notices sent to employees.  Assists in preparing monthly Reconciliation Report for Mountain Vista Risk Manager.

 

Performs pre-employment health screening for all potential employees and annual health screenings  for all current Mountain Vista Medical Center employees, volunteers, and other contracted facility employees.  Follows up on all TB skin test readings, lab results and x-rays.  Assists Infection Control with TB mask fitting testing requirements.  Screens for communicable diseases as dictated by OSHA and/or infection control policy.  Assists with flu vaccine program for all employees including maintaining consent form and log of all flu vaccinations given each year.



Qualifications

Regulatory Requirements:


- Current Arizona RN Licensure.

- BLS certificate.

 

Language Skills:

- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

- Additional languages preferred


Skills:

- Basic computer knowledge.
