RN-Registered Nurse-Hem/Onc Clinical Nursing(DFCI)-32 HRs/Week-9:30AM to 6PM-No Weekends
Responsibilities include providing direct patient care to individuals receiving therapy (chemotherapy/immunotherapy/biotherapy) for oncologic and hematologic disorders, triage of patient/family phone calls, assessment and management of changes in patient status during infusions and/or exam visits, review with modification of nursing assignments to meet patient and operational needs and patient/family education
This individual is a member of an interdisciplinary care team and requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers and staff as well as supporting institutions and agencies.
Demonstration of systems thinking, response to diversity, collaboration, clinical judgment and inquiry, including advocacy for patients and staff, are key components of this role.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA licensed Registered Nurse
-Baccalaureate in Nursing is Required
-Minimum of 1-3 years of oncology experience as an RN
-Outpatient Oncology experience preferred
-in depth knowledge of current oncology nursing practices
-Strong communication skills
-1-2 years of leadership experience is preferred
-Certification in Oncology Nursing, OCN, AOCN, or CPON is preferred and expected within 18 months of employment
