Description/Summary:

  • Performs diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures, operating ultrasound and other equipment/devices as appropriate
  • Ultrasound Technologist work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations and is responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic procedures to ensure the production of quality images of all anatomical structures for interpretation by Radiologist.
  • Adhere to the standard time allotments for each type of US exam in order to maintain the efficient flow of patients during the course of the scheduled day and allow for add-on's.
  • Assist physician with special procedures such as needle biopsies.

Requirements/Education: Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); current BCLS; at least one year of experience.

Salary: $33.00 +
